UnderWater World is open daily from 9am to 5.00pm except
Christmas Day and limited trading on Anzac Day. Last admissions
are 1 hour prior to closing time.

UnderWater World is a multi-award winning tourist attraction located beachside on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We provide you with the unique opportunity to explore 8 unique zones including Touch and Tell, Weird and Wonderful, Seal Island, Otter Empire, Fresh and Freaky, Billabongs and Backyards, and Crawly Creatures! 

We are excited to announce that the Sharks Alive zone is currently undergoing a significant upgrade and will be closed to the public while works are completed. Watch this space for developments! 

Walk amongst thousands of marine and freshwater animals including, Asian small-clawed otters, our family of seals, sawfish and tropical reef fish without getting your feet wet. 

Our most popular attraction though is our highly entertaining seal and otter shows where you’ll soon discover the highly amusing
personalities of our family of mammals.

Other amazing animal interactions include; Seal Swims,
Encounters, Kisses, and Seal Trainer for a Day plus Behind the
Scenes Tours and we also offer the opportunity for visitors to take
part in our unique Otter Encounter. 

With 13 presentations to attend each day the accessibility
to information and staff is unique in an aquarium setting.
